Travel the World with Timmy!
 Program Overview
Climb aboard Timmy’s hot air balloon and experience the sights and sounds
of Argentina, France, Japan, Kenya, and Russia. Students are exposed to
each culture through interactive activities that incorporate language,
numbers and counting, words and stories, songs, games, and printable arts
and crafts.
Classroom Appropriate
As students experience and compare these five rich cultures, they become aware
of the diversities and unities that exist in our world. Early learners discover
how their international neighbors live, dress, sing, eat, play, and speak (and
recent research suggests that primary age students who hear and speak the sounds
of foreign languages can develop a greater fluency with foreign languages later
in life).
Easy-to-Use
All activity instructions are spoken and presented visually, so even pre-readers
can participate in Travel the World with Timmy activities.
