Program Overview
Kid Works Deluxe is an ideal "first word processor" and paint program for young learners. It provides a wonderfully inviting environment for students who are learning how to write. The program offers standard word-processing features in a kid-friendly interface that even nonreaders can use.

Classroom Appropriate
Students can choose from hundreds of backgrounds, stickers, animations, and sounds to bring their stories to life. They can hear their stories read back to them, or they can record themselves reading their stories.
A special feature allows students to choose from a large array of stickers
that change to text at the click of a button. Student work can be printed (in color or black and white) or saved to a disk and played back on any computer, even one without the Kid Works Deluxe program, so you can share stories through email or over the Internet.

Easy-to-Use
Hummingway, the program's animated host, provides good-natured on-screen program help and writing tips. Your students will have support every step of the way.
